No One Said It Was Easy

"If it was easy, everyone would do it"

How many times have you heard that? However, whether it's naivete or just stubbornness we always seem to think our idea is the exception, but the truth is starting a business is hard, exceptionally hard!

It takes passion, perseverance, and a growth mindset to get through the disappointments and hard days. In order to succeed, you have to look at setbacks as learning opportunities and not as a failure. Angela Duckworth says "It's not the ones who are the most talented that succeed, but the ones who have the most GRIT."

The past two months of going through the Velocity Accelerator Program have been trying. They have definitely pushed and challenged me to be a better entrepreneur. I have made pivots, learned from customers, and tried new approaches. The biggest thing has been making sure I learn and grow and not shut down. It has taken all my energy, but I know the end result will be worth it.

Even though I am still faced with difficult decisions, I can see the vision for Anchorspace coming together. I am so appreciative of my friends, family, team members and colleagues that have brainstormed with me and supported me in this endeavor.

It may not be easy, but it is worth it!
